Dr. Jarkko Moilanen

Dr. Jarkko Moilanen is a data product pioneer, AI product leader, author, and educator based in Abu Dhabi. He founded and leads the Open Data Product Specification family under the Linux Foundation AI & Data ecosystem. His work covers machine-readable data products, catalogs, graphs, vocabularies, workflows, and the AI Agent First Data Products SDK. Jarkko currently works on government-wide AI product portfolio development in Abu Dhabi. He has supported data product adoption across global enterprises, public-sector organizations, and technology platforms. He holds a PhD and has written books and professional courses on data products, monetization, governance, specifications, and agent-ready data systems. His teaching focuses on practical methods that help professionals design, govern, scale, and operationalize data products for AI-driven organizations.
