In 1995 I earned my BA degree in English Literature. In 2012, I earned my TESOL certificate while teaching English as a second or other language in ZangJiaGang, China. I then went on to find better jobs working for more prestigious schools in Shanghai, China where I've lived for the last eight years. I have experience and skills in teaching online as well as "brick & mortar" schools. I have taught students from age 2 through adult, from more than 15 different countries. I have taught kids English, conversational (free talk) English, business English, travel English, as well as TOEFL and IELTS exam prep. I teach vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking and listening. I teach you how to speak in a way that you can hold a conversation, not just respond to a question single word answer. I also have more than 35 years experience using and working on and building personal computers. This extensive experience base allows me to be able to teach you basic computer literacy. I can explain the ins-and-outs of Windows, Office, and other Windows applications. I can teach you the common methods of troubleshooting your own computer. I can also give you insights into how you can do your own computer upgrades without paying high service fees at the computer shop.
