  • Cisco CCNA R/S (200-125): The Complete Course

This course is for Cisco's newest certification, the CCNA R/S 200-125, that became effective on August 21st, 2016.
Cisco certifications do have an expiration date and they need to be renewed every couple of years.
The course was produced in a very effective manner where you, the student, would feel as if you are in a classroom setting and the instructor is speaking directly to YOU.
Following Laz's instructions and using his recommendations for other resources like books, etc., has proven to be the key to lead his students to achieve success in passing the certification exam.
Laz's style of teaching, (and there is a method to his madness), is very laid back and somewhat unorthodox, as you will see for yourself.

However, this is to make the topics covered more digestible and easier for anyone to understand. Even if you are totally new to Networking.

So, whether you are a novice, need to pass the CCNA or just need a refresher for your current job, this course has everything you need.

Don't doubt the Instructor with the proven record, but rather embrace his knowledge and his experience when it comes to this; after all...his reputation depends on your success!

You will acquire the knowledge in this course to make it transferable to real world use, as a Cisco and/or IT Professional.

DISCLAIMER:   Please note that the simulators/emulators used in this course are not part of the course. It is the students responsibility to have these to practice with. The Cisco Packet Tracer & VIRAL (Virtual Internet Routing Lab) are Cisco proprietary software and can only be obtained through Cisco. But students have more options than those. They can create their own lab with real equipment, get BOSON or GNS3. It is up to each student to obtain the simulator/emulator of their choice to study along with this course.

We will be creating multiple types of VPNs and through the use for Route Targets and Route Reflectors, we'll demonstrate how packets can be manipulated in a particular direction.

We will definitely be creating Provider Edge routers Customer Edge Routers and have customers within the same company communicate with each other and different companies also be able to communicate with each other through VPN.

We will also learn how to create VRF's in order to make all this possible, as well as understand the CEF, LFIB, LRIB and much more tables in order to troubleshoot MPLS.

  • Cisco OSPF Breakdown

course is several hours long and will cover OSPF at great lengths. I will explain the inner workings of this highly scalable and complexed protocol.

Students will get a thorough understanding of OSPF and how we would implement it in a real world environment.

We will discuss the following concepts OSPF terminology; process ID's, LSA, DBD, LDB's and much more. We will be configuring OSPF in a point-to-point and broadcast type of network and understand the differences between them. Analyze the election process of DR and BDR using loopback addresses, priority numbers or putting in the router id manually.

Once you get an understanding of how OSPF works and it's configurations we will then go into explaining and creating multiple area OSPF and OSPFV3 and analyze them as well.

This is a lecture based course using the Touch-IT Technology Smart board, which will make learning very interactive and engaging. Hands on labs will be used to drill down the concepts learned in each lecture using Cisco's Packet Tracer.

My method will make you feel like you are sitting in a classroom environment and give the most needed hands on experience!

Handouts will be available to facilitate learning and practice.

This course will help the student become familiar with OSPF routing using various methods and how to implement them in your environment…but it will also help in preparing for any networking certification or Computer Science Degree; not to mention the fact that for those already in the field, it will further improve routing decisions in their particular networks.
